It is a true honor to welcome you to the Futuristic Crisis Committee (FCC) in this twelfth edition of ABMUN. My name is Federico Beltrán Sarmiento, and I have the pleasure of presiding over this committee alongside my Co-President, Mariana Sierra.
In this committee, you will be required to go beyond traditional diplomacy. We will confront complex challenges where biosecurity, resource scarcity, and technological advancement intersect, demanding quick thinking, strategic decision-making, and impactful directives.

Dear delegates, welcome to the twelfth edition of ABMUN. My name is Mariana Sierra, and I have the honor of serving as the president of the Futuristic Crisis Committee (FCC), alongside my Co-President, Federico Beltran.
In this session, we will address two important global challenges: hantavirus as a biological weapon and the global water crisis, focusing on transboundary conflicts and water consumption for data center cooling. Both topics raise important concerns about international security, human rights, and global cooperation.
