Good morning, evening or night, dear delegates. My name is Luis Vesga, and I’m going to be your president for Human Rights Comitee in ABMUN XII.
In this comitee you will not just debate about Human Rights as if they were something unrelated to you, but something you live and have on your day life. Maybe the topics like Gaza or the freedom of expression seems to be far away, but in a globalized world and as global citizens, we have the responsibility to reflex on this problematics.
And now, as delegates, representing some of the 193 state members of the ONU, you will do more than just think about this. You will debate, negotiate and and finalize solutions always remaining within the framework of the UDHR and with the SDG.

So, dear delegates. Prepare your self’s to debate and change the world in a simulation. And after that, go to change the real world.
Hello delegates, my name Is Ana María Sánchez and welcome to ABMUN XII.
In this edition, we gather to address urgent ethical and human rights challenges: the protection of civilian victims and humanitarian access in conflict zones like the Gaza Strip, and the clash between authoritarian repression—through technology and force—and international demands for civil liberties.
